Support and Training for Parents

Supporting parents through anxiety, avoidance, and dependence

Evidence-based parent training and family consultation can be very helpful for caregivers navigating childhood anxiety, adolescent avoidance, and young adult “failure to launch” patterns.

Dr. Rochelle Holtzman and Heidi Wood, LCSW provide these services via telehealth in 42+ states, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the SPACE model (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Treatment is structured, parent-focused, and designed to reduce accommodation patterns that unintentionally maintain anxiety and dependence.

Parent-focused change can begin even if your child or young adult is unwilling to participate.
