Support and Training for Parents

Supporting parents through anxiety, avoidance, and dependence

At Atlanta CBT, we provide evidence-based parent training and family consultation for caregivers navigating childhood anxiety, adolescent avoidance, and young adult “failure to launch” patterns.

These services are provided via telehealth in 42+ states and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the SPACE model (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Treatment is structured, parent-focused, and designed to reduce accommodation patterns that unintentionally maintain anxiety and dependence.

Parent-focused change can begin even if your child or young adult is unwilling to participate.
